CAHIER D’OSTÉOPATHIE NO 5, 2e édition Techniques structurelles rachidiennes

Authors. In. J.-F Chantepie/. Pérot

This work presents structural spinal techniques constituting the base of osteopathic techniques using high-velocity with low-amplitude thrusts.

More details

More info

The thrust is a direct, indirect or semi-direct method of osteopathic treatments which uses the specific positioning of the patient, in collaboration with short, quick pushes made by practitioner’s hands (high speed movements applied by short thrusts with less force) transcends the restrictions of the dysfunction. The necessary anatomical and biomechanical indications for every essential region of the spine, cervix, thorax, lumbar vertebra and pelvic area are studied from an osteopathic point of view. The description of the biomechanical tests and the structural adjustments are organized by region, from the occipital to the coccyx.
