This work has been conceived as a supportive aid for student apprenticeship, as well as an educational support for the teacher and a reference textbook for the professional. Its objective is to reconcile the holistic dimension of osteopathic diagnosis and its intrinsic complexity.

The authors approach the osteopathic domain by:

- A global approach of the musculo-bone sphere and fasciale by beginning with observation and then by presenting the global tests by region;

- A specific approach for the lower limbs, the lower body, the spine, the upper limbs.
