The authors, who are trained osteopaths in English-American techniques and followers of the osteopathic philosophy of Andrew Taylor Still and William Gardner Sutherland, present their study of the educational synthesis.  They offer and propose a method of osteopathic care based on quality and exactitude.

Osteopathy consists of actions based on postural balance of the body and harmonization.  This balance depends on the integrity of a complex system of exocaptors and endocaptors which send information to the central nervous system to regulate the postural tonic system via the muscular channels, the central tendon and the information on the neurovegetative system.

This work is a useful reference for all those dedicated to the art of manual treatments and who want consistency in the results obtained from their examinations.
